Namaste and warm greetings,
It is my great honour and privilege to serve as the Chairman of the Sandhurst Nepali Community. Our community stands as a proud bridge between Nepal and the United Kingdom, built on shared values of courage, service, culture, and unity.
Sandhurst has long been a place of significance for many Nepali and Gurkha families. Here, we have settled, served, and contributed to the wider society while proudly preserving our language, traditions, and cultural heritage. Our community brings together veterans, families, young people, and elders—each playing an important role in shaping who we are today.
During my tenure as Chairman, I am proud to say that we have successfully established strong foundations for our community. This includes the setup of our community banking system, the launch of our official website, and the creation of our community flag, all of which represent transparency, identity, and long-term sustainability. In addition, the Sandhurst Nepali Community has consistently attended and actively participated in community events in line with our long-standing practice. We continue to work closely and collaboratively with the local community, Bracknell Forest Borough Council, and Sandhurst Town Council, strengthening relationships and ensuring positive representation of our community at all levels.
The Sandhurst Nepali Community exists to support one another, promote wellbeing, celebrate our rich culture, and encourage positive integration within the wider society. We remain committed to education, youth engagement, cultural events, and mutual support, guided by our core values of respect, discipline, and compassion.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all our members, volunteers, advisors, and partner organisations for their continued dedication and support. Your contribution is the foundation of our progress and success. Together, let us continue to move forward with unity and pride—honouring our past, supporting our present, and inspiring future generations. Dhanyabad.

It has been a great honour and privilege to serve the Sandhurst Nepali Community as Chairman from November 2022 to December 2024. Over the past two years, our community has made meaningful progress through unity, cooperation, and shared commitment. Together, we strengthened our cultural identity, supported our senior citizens, engaged constructively with local authorities, and upheld the values of service, respect, and mutual understanding. These achievements reflect the dedication and collective effort of our community.
I extend my sincere gratitude to all members, volunteers, advisors, and Executive Committee colleagues for their continued support. Your commitment has helped build a strong foundation for the future of the Sandhurst Nepali Community.
Message of Appreciation: I sincerely thank all members of the Sandhurst Nepali Community for the trust, participation, and encouragement shown during my tenure. Special appreciation goes to our senior citizens and volunteers whose wisdom, guidance, and selfless service have been invaluable.Your contributions have strengthened our unity and enriched our community spirit.
Community Progress: Over the past two years, the Sandhurst Nepali Community has achieved significant progress in community cohesion, cultural preservation, welfare support, and engagement with local councils and authorities. These accomplishments demonstrate our shared vision and dedication to serving the community with pride and responsibility.
Culture and Unity: Our culture, traditions, and festivals remain at the heart of our identity. Through celebrations, gatherings, and community activities, we have proudly preserved our Nepali heritage while fostering friendship and harmony with the wider local community. Unity continues to be our greatest strength.
Farewell and Best Wishes: As I conclude my tenure as Chairman, I extend my heartfelt best wishes to the incoming Executive Committee. I am confident that under new leadership, the Sandhurst Nepali Community will continue to grow, support its members, and contribute positively to society.
Let us move forward together with unity, respect, and a shared sense of purpose.

स्यान्डहर्स्ट नेपाली कम्युनिटीको स्थापना मिति २९ अप्रिल २००७ मा भएको हो। समुदाय–केन्द्रित, समावेशी तथा सक्रिय सामाजिक संस्थाका रूपमा स्थापना गरिएको यस कम्युनिटीले नेपाली समुदायको एकता, पहिचान र सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्वलाई आत्मसात् गर्दै निरन्तर प्रगतितर्फ अग्रसर हुने लक्ष्य लिएको छ।
यस कम्युनिटीले नेपाली भाषा, संस्कृति र परम्पराको संरक्षण तथा प्रवर्द्धन गर्नुका साथै स्थानीय समुदाय र सरोकारवाला निकायहरूसँग सहकार्य गर्दै आपसी सद्भाव र सामाजिक सहभागितालाई सुदृढ बनाउँदै आएको छ।
आगामी दिनहरूमा पनि स्यान्डहर्स्ट नेपाली कम्युनिटीले समुदायको हित, आपसी समझदारी तथा बहुसांस्कृतिक सहकार्यलाई प्राथमिकतामा राख्दै अझ जिम्मेवारीपूर्ण र प्रभावकारी भूमिका निर्वाह गर्ने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गर्दछ।
