Welcome to our new website! Launched in October 2025 — connecting the Nepali community in Sandhurst and beyond.
The Sandhurst Nepali Community (SNC) was established in 2007 with the aim of bringing together the Nepali residents of Sandhurst and surrounding areas to promote cultural, social, and community harmony. The founding meeting took place on 29 April 2007 at the New Owlsmoor Community Centre, located at 1 Cambridge Road, Owlsmoor, Sandhurst, GU47 0UB.
The community was initiated under the leadership of Founder Chairman Mr. Durga Ramjali Pun, whose vision was to create a supportive and inclusive platform for Nepali families. The community’s coordination team includes Mrs. Deborah Angdembe, Mr. Jurendra Khajum Limbu, and Mr. Narendra Angdembe, who continue to play active roles in maintaining and developing the organization’s activities and objectives.
To preserve and promote Nepali culture, values, and traditions within the multicultural society of the United Kingdom, while fostering unity, friendship, and mutual support among community members. The Sandhurst Nepali Community is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of its members through cultural, educational, and social activities that encourage inclusivity and belonging.
To build a vibrant, self-sustaining Nepali community in Sandhurst that contributes positively to both the local and wider British society. SNC envisions a future where Nepali heritage is celebrated, the younger generation remains connected to their roots, and all members are empowered to thrive through shared cultural pride, cooperation, and community spirit.
